@D Pak Badagas are from Badagenahalli original home land of Badagas. Badaga means northern in Kannada.

@Bhavana V not badavanahalli. but maybe badaganadu brahmins who migrated at the fall of vijayanagara empire. In the community there are tales of people being chased by muslim rulers for opposing to convert and stop writing religious books (vedas) and some such. There are no records for any of it though. very intriguing history indeed.
